Terms and Conditions

Yangabid reserves the right to change these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the services after any change will be deemed acceptance of the updated Terms.

When you access the app through a mobile network, your network or roaming provider's messaging, data and other rates and fees will apply. Downloading, registering for or using the app may be prohibited or restricted by your network provider, and some or all parts of the services may not work with your network provider or device.

1. License

Subject to your agreement to these Terms and your continued compliance with them and any other relevant policies, Yangabid grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, limited license to access and use the app for personal, non-commercial and recreational purposes only. You agree not to use the services for any other purpose.

You shall not sell, rent or grant unauthorized third party use of your account, create service accounts using false information, or impersonate another person or entity. You shall not use the services if Yangabid has previously removed you from any part of the services or banned you from playing.

2. Your account

You may be required, or given the option, to create a user account and choose a username for your use of the app. Yangabid reserves the right to suspend or ban any account involved in fraudulent activity.

By default, the services support only one player account per game on a supported device. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity that happens under your account.

3. Plans and payments

Access to the marketplace for a given day requires payment of one of the plans offered in the app. Plans currently start at 400 naira per day, with higher tiers that additionally open the exclusive item sessions. A plan grants access for that day only and does not roll over.

Prices, plan names and what each plan includes are shown in the app before payment and may be changed by Yangabid from time to time.

Plan payments, wallet funding and subscription payments are not refundable once a session has been joined, except where a session is cancelled by Yangabid. Where a session is cancelled because a minimum number of players was not reached, the amount held for that session is returned to your wallet.

Where payment is charged to your airtime through a mobile network operator, your operator's own terms and charges also apply.

4. Gameplay and winners

Each session runs for a stated period shown in the app. Points, referred to as Yangs, are earned through gameplay and have no cash value. Yangs cannot be transferred, exchanged or withdrawn, and they expire when the session ends.

The participant holding the highest Yangs when the session timer reaches zero wins the item attached to that session. Yangabid's determination of the winner, based on the scores recorded on our servers, is final.

5. Prizes and delivery

Prizes are delivered to the winner at no additional cost. Winners are contacted through the app and on the phone number attached to their account, and are required to confirm a delivery address within a reasonable period.

Where a winner cannot be reached, or the address given is invalid or outside our delivery coverage, Yangabid may arrange collection or offer an item of equivalent value. Prizes are not exchangeable for cash.

6. Fair play and prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

• use bots, scripts, emulators or any automated means to play;
• operate more than one account, or play on an account that is not yours;
• exploit a bug, glitch or error rather than reporting it to us;
• interfere with the app, our servers or other players;
• use the services for any unlawful purpose.

Accounts found in breach may be suspended or closed, and any prize won through such conduct may be withdrawn. Any fraudulent activity will be reported to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission and to any other relevant authority.

7. Service availability

We work to keep the services running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The app may be unavailable during maintenance, network outages or events outside our control. Yangabid may add, change or remove features, categories or sessions at any time.

8. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, Yangabid is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the services, for loss caused by your network provider or device, or for loss arising from your failure to keep your account details secure.

9. Changes to these terms

We may revise these Terms as the product develops. The revision date appears at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we will make it visible in the app. Continuing to use the services after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the Yangabid game shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration in accordance with the arbitration laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
